This is not the actual center.  The center includes state-of-the-art 4 inch thick astro turf, an expanded yard area, social gathering areas for students as well as a new playground areas for both toddlers and school age children.

Complete Outside Activity Center

Please help us completely renovate our outdoor activity center to increase safety, challenge creativity and socially nurture our students.  To accomplish this we need to purchase equipment and provide a grounds/activity area that is:

  • Durable and safe
  • Fall safe (soft surface)
  • Attractive
  • Easily maintained
  • Qualified under state regulations (for ages 3 through 14)
  • Promotes physical fitness
  • Usable for all ages

We have started a capital campaign with a goal of raising $230,000.  At present we have secured $159,000!  We have a wonderful family willing to match up to $75,000 after we began with an inital $50,000.  As of May 8, $54,525 has been raised and matched.  To reach our total goal of $230,000, we need to raise approximately $50,000 more! With the support of this community, we are hoping to achieve our goal by the Fall of 2012.  The success of this campaign will greatly improve the quality and safety of our current activity center and help us meet our ultimate goal of developing healthy and successful young adults.
